One day while walking through Nordstrom, I saw a mannequin wearing a super cool outfit and I announced, “I want to be her one day”. I ended up buying the skirt and the jacket – both Michael Kors. Today, I am wearing the skirt. I love this skirt. It’s a little bit funky and a little bit retro and still professional.
Daily Wear 9.25.13 = Black bateau neck blouse with zippers on the shoulders, leopard (or as my son would say, Cheetah) print pencil skirt and my mary jane (because all my shoes require a strap or I will walk right out of them – no matter how tight they are. Thank you skinny heels) kitten pumps. Also, I decided to do my hair and make-up a little retro’y. Truth be told, I wear my make-up and hair like this quite often. Like almost daily kind of often. I’ve got the eyeliner swoop down because of Lancome’s uber easy to use liquid liner called Artliner (no I’m not paid to say this, I really really mean it. But, if Lancome wants to send me a box of Artliner, I’ll take it). It is really easy to use, doesn’t smear all over the place and takes only seconds to dry. LOVE! So, I’ve added some shots of the hair and the make-up. Remember, this is a no pro photo shoot.
